Websites; big ones, small ones, some as big as your head.*

As a freelance web developer based in the city of Brighton & Hove, specialising in WordPress, I can work with you or for you to create beautiful, functional, feature-rich websites quickly & efficiently; from a simple one page presence like this site that you’re viewing, to complex, international, multi-lingual entities complete with bells, whistles and eyebrows.

I’ve been working in the digital arena since 1994 and have a wealth of experience and a broad range of related skills. I use my resources & know-how to produce engaging sites on any scale, and not being a “proper” geek I can speak your language. Get in touch now to find out how I can help you.

MonsterVoice

One of 4 sites built for the talent agency EmptageHallett, updating their existing offerings that showcase their voiceover and acting talent. Working with nomoredesign and 2UpFront, this site has some fun little touches, an advanced search feature, a faceted results filter and a customised MP3 player for their client’s showreels.

BookBound

Running writerly courses for the right kind of writer, BookBound needed a calm and engaging website to showcase their courses.  I worked with nomoredesign to create a clear and calm website which is both simple for the admins to manage, and easy for visitors to navigate and use.

Brighton & Hove Arts Council

Local charity Brighton & Hove Arts Council needed a new site to showcase their work with the local community and to raise their profile and membership numbers. Working with their team and a simple one page design brief I extrapolated from this to create an engaging site for them which is both simple for them to administer, and is easy for visitors to find their way around.

Ocean Technologies Group

Working with Think Learning to rebuild the Ocean Technology Groups storefront, selling their maritime training courses, leveraging WooCommerce with a Totara LMS integration with an SSO solution and the Divi page builder for their non-shop pages. The complex technicalities were capably handled by Think Learnings in-house expertise leaving me to style up the theme.

Choose Love

Working with AKQA alongside their lead developer I helped create this site for the refugee charity Choose Love. We developed a suite of reusable Divi components, many heavily modified to give them the functionality that they needed, and to allow them to easily integrate their 3rd party donation, petition and subscription APIs.

Cyprus Villa Retreats Home Page

Cyprus Villa Retreats

Cyprus Villa Retreats’ original site had grown in an ad-hoc fashion. To update and unify the look and feel, provide a simple way for their content editors to work and to integrate with their Checkfront sales engine I worked with JooJoo Creative to build them a site that utilises a bespoke set of page-building blocks ensuring a consistent style, and that is user friendly from both the front- and back-end.
